Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign 2024 - Activity Report

As part of the Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign 2024, our school organized various activities to
promote cleanliness and hygiene, aligning with the campaign's theme, “Swabhav Swachhata –
Sanskaar Swachhata”. These activities encouraged active student participation, enhanced
awareness of cleanliness, and contributed to the betterment of the community.

Activity 1: Personal Hygiene Awareness (Primary Section)
On the first day, students from the primary section participated in a session on personal hygiene.
The importance of daily hygiene practices, including proper handwashing and personal
grooming, was emphasized. Teachers led the initiative, instilling the values of cleanliness from
an early age.

Activity 2: Cleanliness Drive by Classes 4 and 5
Equipped with gloves and necessary cleaning supplies, students from classes 4 and 5 actively
participated in cleaning their surroundings, including school gardens and nearby areas. This
activity fostered a sense of responsibility towards maintaining a clean and green environment, in
line with the campaign’s objective of clearing dirty spots and promoting community
involvement.
Activity 3: Poster and Slogan Writing Competition (Classes 6, 7, and 8)
Students from classes 6 to 8 engaged in a creative competition focused on poster making and
slogan writing. The theme for the competition was “Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar
Swachhata,” with a special emphasis on waste management and the elimination of single-use
plastics. Their artworks and slogans were later displayed as part of a school-wide awareness
campaign.

Activity 4: Poster Display and Selfie Point
Following the slogan and poster competition, the posters were prominently displayed across the
school. A special “Selfie Point” was set up at the entry, encouraging students, teachers, and staff
to take selfies with the posters, enhancing engagement and promoting pride in cleanliness.

Activity 5: Human Chain Formation (Class 12)
Students of class 12 formed a symbolic human chain around the school premises to raise
awareness about cleanliness. This collective effort represented the unity and commitment
required to maintain a clean environment.

Activity 6: Nukkad Natak (Class 11)
Class 11 students performed a street play (Nukkad Natak) in the school to communicate the
importance of cleanliness and hygiene. The play highlighted critical aspects of waste
management, proper sanitation, and eliminating the use of plastics. This performance was both
educational and entertaining, promoting the campaign's message to a broader audience.

Activity 7: Tree Plantation Drive
A tree plantation drive was organized, where students planted saplings on the school campus.
This initiative, aligned with the “Ek-Ped-Maa-Ke-Naam” campaign, promoted environmental
conservation and reinforced the connection between cleanliness and green spaces.

Activity 8: Rally on Swachhata
A rally was conducted with students, teachers, and staff, carrying posters and placards with
slogans supporting Swachhata. The rally aimed to extend the campaign’s message to the local
community, emphasizing the collective effort needed to maintain cleanliness.

Activity 9: Sanitation Drive by Class 11

Class 11 students led a sanitation drive across the school campus, ensuring cleanliness in various
areas. This hands-on activity encouraged waste segregation and proper waste disposal,
contributing to the campaign’s broader goal of Sampoorna Swachhata.
