ANTI - DRUG ABUSE DAY
As part of the observance of the World Anti- Drug Abuse Day, Vimukti Club of MBPS organised an awareness session on 24 th June 2026 to educate students about the dangers of leading a healthy lifestyle.
The session was led by Mr Sumesh Devdas , Civil Excise Officer Kottayam who interacted with the students and shared valuable information on the harmful effects of drugs and substance abuse. Sir explained how addiction can negatively affect a person's physical health, mental well-being, relationship and future prospects. Through real life examples , students gained a better understanding of the risks associated with drug consumption. Making responsible choices, resisting peer pressure and seeking help also were the topics of discussion.
The session motivated the students to become ambassadors of a drug- free society and spread awareness among peers and community.
