Empowering Young Minds Through Healthy Choices
Mar Baselios Public School hosted an Anti-obesity Wellness Campaign in association with the Rotary Club of Kottayam on September 8 with the objective of sensitising young learners to the importance of healthy lifestyle choices.
The awareness session was led by Dr. Jeevan Joseph, Vimala Hospital, Ettumanur and was attended by students of classes V to VIII. Through an engaging and informative interaction, Dr Jeevan shed light on the causes and consequences of obesity and emphasized the significance of a balanced diet, regular physical activity, adequate sleep and healthy daily routines.
The President of the Rotary Club of Kottayam, Mr. P P Mathew, graced the occasion with his presence.
The session provided the students with an opportunity to actively participate and clarify their doubts. It was an enriching initiative that empowered students to make mindful decisions and take meaningful steps towards a healthier and more active future.
