ENVIRONMENT DAY 2025
The Kottayam district-level inauguration of World Environment Day was held with great enthusiasm at Mar Baselios Public School on June 5th, 2025. The event was honored by the presence of Honorable Minister Shri V.N Vasavan, who was the chief guest.
The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness and responsibility among students and the wider community.
A sapling was planted by the Honorable Minister, symbolizing a commitment to a greener and healthier planet. His inspiring presence and message reinforced the importance of collective efforts in safeguarding the environment.
Fr. Saji Yohannan, the school administrator served as the Chief Speaker and delivered a powerful address that highlighted the urgent need for environmental conservation and the role each individual must play in protecting nature.
Adding further significance to the occasion, Sri N.Rajesh IFS ,Divisional Forest Officer, Kottayam delivered the Environment Day message.
The celebration was a meaningful and inspiring reminder of our shared responsibility towards Mother Earth.
