FIELD TRIP TO KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA - KUMARAKOM
Grade IX students visited Krishi Vigyan Kendra,Kumarakom on 14 th July as part of their Vocational Education to gain practical knowledge about agriculture and sustainable farming practices. The session began with a briefing session .
The students toured various sections of the campus including vegetable gardens, nurseries and demonstration plots. They gained first hand information about budding, grafting, organic farming, compost preparation and eco friendly pest management.
The interactive session encouraged students to ask questions and observe farming techniques. The trip inspired students to appreciate the hardwork of farmers and the importance of food security. It provided the students with experiential learning beyond classroom
