FIELD VISIT FOR CLASS X

Mar Baselios Public School organized an educational field visit for the students of Class 10 to the School of Environmental Science, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam on 17th September 2025. A total of 66 students, accompanied by 3 teachers, participated in the program.
The visit began at 10:00 a.m. and concluded at 1:00 p.m. The students were given the opportunity to explore the Drone Lab, GIS Lab, and Analytical Lab. Experts at the university demonstrated the functioning of advanced instruments and explained their applications in environmental studies and other scientific research areas.
An interactive session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was also arranged by the university faculty. The session gave students valuable insights into the growing role of AI in diverse fields and its future prospects. Students actively participated by asking questions and engaging in discussions, which enhanced their curiosity and understanding of emerging technologies.
The field trip was highly beneficial as it provided students with practical exposure to cutting-edge scientific and technological advancements, enabling them to connect classroom learning with real-world applications.
The program concluded with an expression of gratitude to the Director and the faculty members of the School of Environmental Science for their support and guidance in making the visit an enriching and memorable experience.
