1. Introduction
Mar Baselios Public School successfully organized the Mega Tinkering Day on 12th August 2025, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog. The event aimed to inspire creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students through hands-on tinkering activities.

3. Activity Overview
The event followed the official Mega Tinkering Day format. Students engaged in a DIY project as demonstrated during the national live session. The project for the day involved building a functional prototype (Vacuum Cleaner) using basic electronic components and recyclable materials, thereby learning concepts of air pressure, suction, and electronics.
4. Event Flow
- Welcome & Orientation: Students and mentors gathered in the ATL, and the ATL In-charge briefed them about the activity and safety measures.
- Material Distribution: All required components were provided to each team.
- Live Session: Students connected to the national session and followed the step-by-step instructions.
- Hands-on Tinkering: Teams collaborated to assemble and test their prototypes, applying STEM concepts creatively.
- Showcase: Each team presented their working model.
- Documentation: Photos and videos were captured throughout the event for record and submission.
5. Outcomes
- All teams successfully completed their prototypes.
- Students demonstrated creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Enhanced understanding of practical applications of scientific principles.
