Onam Celebration at MBPS
Onam, the festival of joy and togetherness, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Mar Baselios Public School on 27th August. The celebration began with the Onam message delivered by the school administrator, Fr. Saji Yohannan, highlighting the values of harmony, unity and cultural pride that the festival represents.
Adding to the festive spirit, students and staff came dressed in traditional Kerala attire, creating a vibrant and graceful atmosphere on campus. A grand Mega Thiruvathira was the highlight of the day, where both staff and students performed the traditional dance, bringing alive the rich cultural heritage of the state.
The celebration also featured a variety of cultural programmes that showcased the traditions of Kerala. Fun-filled activities and traditional games further added to the joy, making the occasion lively and memorable.
The Onam celebration truly reflected the spirit of unity, joy and cultural pride, leaving lasting memories in the hearts of all.
