The AI exhibition 'ROBOFUSION FEST-THE GENESIS' was successfully conducted on 30th August 2024, showcasing the innovative spirit and technical prowess of students. A total of 14 projects were displayed, each offering unique solutions to everyday challenges using artificial intelligence and related technologies.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Saji Yohanan, who commended the students for their creativity and technical skills. The event saw enthusiastic participation, with all students visiting the exhibition to explore the various projects on display.
1. Smart Dustbin
The Smart Dustbin project aimed at automating waste management. The dustbin uses sensors to detect the presence of waste and opens automatically, promoting hygiene and reducing manual intervention.
2. Obstacle Avoiding Car
This project featured a robotic car equipped with sensors to detect and avoid obstacles in its path. The car demonstrated autonomous navigation, making it ideal for applications in areas with challenging terrains.
3. RFID Door Lock
The RFid Door Lock system provided a secure and convenient way to access locked spaces. The project demonstrated how RFID technology can be used to enhance security systems in homes and offices.
4. Puzzle Game Using Python
An interactive and educational puzzle game was developed using Python. The game was designed to engage users in problem-solving while improving their logical thinking skills.
5. Gesture Controlled LED
This project showcased a system where LEDs could be controlled using hand gestures. The project was a perfect example of how human-computer interaction can be simplified using AI.
6. Alcohol Detection
The Alcohol Detection project focused on enhancing safety in vehicles. The system could detect alcohol levels in a driver’s breath and prevent the vehicle from starting if alcohol was detected above a certain threshold.
7. GPS Tracker
A GPS-based tracking system was developed to monitor the location of vehicles or individuals in real-time. This project highlighted the importance of location tracking in security and logistics.
8. Smart Iron Box
The Smart Iron Box project introduced an iron box with automated temperature control. The system could adjust its heat based on the type of fabric, preventing damage and ensuring efficient ironing.
9. Toll Plaza Using AI
This project automated toll collection using AI, reducing the need for manual toll booths. It used image recognition and RFID technology to identify vehicles and process payments automatically.
10. Smart Irrigation System
The Smart Irrigation System utilized sensors to monitor soil moisture levels and control water supply to crops accordingly. The project aimed at conserving water and optimizing crop yield.
11. Website Development
A website was developed to provide an online platform for various services and information. The project showcased skills in web development, including front-end design and back-end integration.
12. Emotion Detection
The Emotion Detection project utilized AI to analyze facial expressions and detect emotions. This technology has potential applications in areas like mental health, customer service, and marketing.
13. Pulse Rate Monitoring System
This project involved the development of a system to monitor an individual’s pulse rate in real-time. The system was designed for use in healthcare settings to keep track of patients’ vital signs.
