STEM Education for Teachers - 2025–26

Mar Baselios Public School conducted a one-day STEM Workshop for teachers of CBSE Sahodaya on 19th July 2025, in collaboration with HOWNWHY, an expert in providing STEM education to schools throughout India. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Ranjith Rajan, Principal of Sree Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Karikod, and CBSE Training Coordinator, Kottayam District.
The session was led by Mr. Ajay Sagar, who introduced the teachers to modern techniques and AI-supported learning and teaching aids that enhance the teaching and learning experience in today’s educational landscape. Teachers were given hands-on experience with AI applications like PhET, Alchemist, and other AI tools designed to facilitate classroom engagement and concept clarity.
Around 80 teachers from various schools across Kottayam participated in the workshop.
At the conclusion of the session, Certificates of Participation were awarded to all attendees, acknowledging their active involvement and enthusiasm.
The workshop was a resounding success, inspiring many educators to explore the ever-evolving domain of technology and its real-world applications in education.
